Mr. Doe is the free Entity in TIMELESS, the released Roblox 1v8 horror game. One hunter, eight Emissaries, nine-player servers. Highest killer chance picks from three random maps. You wipe, or they fill generators with gas, revive, carry, and reach Last 50 Seconds. Mr. Doe is the correct first hunter because the kit is honest melee pressure with no 950 or 1200 Tix filter.

First person is part of the kit

The model blocks third-person view. That is a TIMELESS practical fact, not a graphics complaint. If you stay in third person, you will Leap into a Builderman trowel wall you never saw (30 HP, 20 seconds, survivors walk through). You will Charge past a Shedletsky Slash. You will lose Guest in a doorway because the silhouette ate the frame.

Toggle POV (V on default PC binds) until first person is muscle memory. Shiftlock (Left Ctrl) still matters for claw tracking. Edit binds in settings if V is not comfortable. See controls and keybinds. Other hunters can live in third person when their silhouette is honest. Mr. Doe is not those hunters.

Flesh claw, Leap, Charge

The claw is your round. Fifteen-damage swap shots belong to 007n7. Long-range projectiles belong to Ellernate. You walk generators and hit people. That is why Mr. Doe teaches the game.

Leap is the gap closer. Use it after a living player has already spent peel — Guest gravity coil Helpless (2s, 25s cooldown), Jane Charge (20s, miss = Slowness III 3s), Shedletsky Slash (25s). Leaping into a loaded sentinel is how free hunters look worse than 1200 Tix infection. Leap onto a generator cluster, not onto a speed-coil windup you cannot catch.

Charge is the commit. Jane Doe’s living Charge is a documented 20 second peel; your hunter Charge is the other half of that marriage story, not a copy of her numbers. Spend Charge when the eight is grouped on gas or on a revive (R) / carry (C). Do not Charge a solo Guest across Construction while seven people dump the rest of the map.

If a cooldown number is not on this page, it is because TIMELESS has not locked it the way Guest coils and Shedletsky chicken are locked. Play the buttons. Do not import a different John Doe kit.

Jane Doe, lore, and the actual matchup

Jane is a survivalist section on the emissaries roster. Corrupted arm from you. Charge peel, Roll 21s, third ability planned. When Jane is in the eight, she wants you to miss the same way she fears missing: a committed Charge that does not land. Respect Roll. Do not tunnel her for the story while Noob carts a down to a dispenser.

Lore does not apply Slowness. Generators do not care that it is March 18 in the myth. Play the nine-player round.

How Mr. Doe plays the 1v8 loop

Pick the smallest of the three maps when you can. Construction is small and generator-heavy; claw shines. Starter Place is medium. Horror Hotel and Area 51 reward Ellernate walls and 007n7 warps more than they reward a free claw. You can still win them if you patrol instead of highlighting.

Open on a generator, not on a spawn chase. Down one, then leave to cut the revive. Infection snowball is Zombie King at 1200 Tix; you do not get zombies. Your snowball is pressure: a down that is not revived because you are already on the next gas line.

Counters:

• Guest coils — Helpless, then gone. Do not Leap the windup; Leap the landing you still have.
• Shedletsky — Slash stuffs Charge. Block does less to you than it does to projectile hunters. Walk around Block, do not eat Slash.
• Builderman — 30 HP walls. Break them or walk the long way. Hammer is only 1 second Helpless; it still ruins a Charge.
• Noob — boombox is a lie. Do not Charge audio.
• Kolossos players on the other side of the lobby are irrelevant; you are the hunter this round.

Last 50 Seconds can add poison, fire, lasers, powerlines, or lightning. Claw through a fire patch is not brave. It is a throw. Read maps.

Tix: you cost zero. Spend later on 007n7, Ellernate at 950, or Zombie King at 1200 after you can already win on claw. There are no verified public promo codes as of September 2026; see codes and Discord. Patch notes that change Leap or Charge will move the A slot; watch patch notes.

Stay in first person, Leap after peel is spent, Charge the group on gas, and leave a down to kill the revive instead of farming a highlight on Jane. TIMELESS Mr. Doe is free because the lesson is the camera and the patrol, not because the claw is a joke. If you third-person off a rooftop because the model ate the ledge, that is the kit telling you to press V. If you wipe eight people on Construction without a Tix purchase, that is the kit doing its real job: teaching every other TIMELESS Entity.
