TIMELESS PC and Controller Binds

Abilities, shiftlock, revive, carry, emote, and chat wheel, editable in settings.

Last updated:

This page is the full keybind table captured from the TIMELESS Roblox description. It is a reference tool, not a movement essay. For why you would shiftlock on Construction or flip POV on Mr. Doe, read the controls guide. For a pre-queue checklist that includes loadouts, stay on the tools hub. Binds below are the defaults. The listing says they are editable in settings.

TIMELESS is a released nine-player 1v8. You will press these keys while filling generators with gas, while an Entity closes distance, and again during Last 50 Seconds when hazards such as poison, fire, lasers, powerlines, or lightning can appear. Learn the table in the lobby. Do not learn it the first time Kolossos grabs a teammate.

Two facts jump off that list. First, R is printed twice: it is an ability key and the revive key. In a real match the game decides by context and role, but your fingers still share one cap. If you main a kit whose third ability sits on R and you also play Emissary support, rebind revive or the ability in settings before you queue. Second, the public description we captured does not name a PC sprint key. Controller sprint is L2. Do not invent a PC sprint bind on this wiki; check your in-game settings list if a sprint toggle exists on keyboard after a patch.

POV on V matters for Entities whose bodies eat the camera. Mr. Doe is the example the roster calls out: play first person because the model blocks view. Emissaries still use V when a hotel corridor or an Area 51 sightline feels wrong in third person.

Carry on C is how an Emissary relocates a downed teammate. Revive on R is the pickup. Mixing them is the classic panic: you start a carry when you meant to finish a revive in a doorway, or you spend an ability R when a Builderman needed a pickup. Practice the pair in a quiet lobby emote, then in a real generator room.

Chat wheel X is for callouts you cannot type while sprinting on controller. Emote G is social and also a way to get yourself killed if you hit it instead of an ability during Last 50 Seconds. Rebind emote away from your ability cluster if that has happened more than once.

Controller defaults

ShiftlockDPad Up
ReviveB
CarryDPad Right
EmoteDPad Down

Controller ability keys sit on Y, L1, R1, and L3 (left stick click). L3 as an ability is easy to bump while you steer. If your Sentinel stun keeps firing when you meant to camera-nudge, move that ability off L3 in settings.

L2 is sprint. That is the clearest sprint listing we have from the official description. Hold it with intent on large maps (Yoricks Resting Place, The Horror Hotel, Area 51) and tap it on Construction so you do not slide past a gas generator.

DPad Up toggles shiftlock. B revives. DPad Right carries. DPad Down emotes. X opens the chat wheel. Face-button revive on B will feel like every other Roblox survivor title; the dangerous overlap is DPad inputs while you are also steering. Practice carry versus emote so a downed teammate does not get a dance instead of a pickup.

There is no separate controller POV row in the description we captured. If a later patch adds one, it will show in settings next to the rest of this table. Until then, do not assume a face button is POV just because PC uses V.

Settings, roles, and what not to rebind into

Open TIMELESS settings from the lobby and read the current list. Patches after the late August 2026 release, including the September 2026 maps-and-balancing message, can add rows this page has not seen. If in-game disagrees with the table, believe in-game and then check patch notes.

Rebind with a job in mind. Sentinels want stun/interrupt abilities on the most reliable fingers (often Q/F on PC, Y/L1 on controller). Supports want buildings on a key they will not hit while reviving. Survivalists want self-peel away from emote. Entities want their kit’s travel tool (a leap, a charge, a warp) off the revive-shaped muscle memory they built on Emissary rounds.

Do not “rebind” by installing an executor. That is not a keybind. The scripts hub has no dedicated TIMELESS scripts and does not want your account. Legal speed comes from this table plus the controls guide.

Print the two tables or keep this tab on a second monitor for your first week after the August 2026 launch. Once Q/F/R/T and the controller cluster are in muscle memory, spend attention on kits and maps instead of on the keyboard. Return here only when a patch adds a bind or when you swap from keyboard to pad mid-season.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for TIMELESS rounds, codes, and character picks.

What are the TIMELESS PC ability keys?

Q, F, R, and T. Revive is also listed on R, so rebind in settings if that overlap hurts. See the tools hub for loadout context.

What are the TIMELESS controller ability keys?

Y, L1, R1, and L3. Sprint is L2. Shiftlock is DPad Up. Revive is B. Carry is DPad Right.

Can I change TIMELESS keybinds?

Yes. The Roblox description says binds are editable in settings. Change them in the client, not with an injector.

Is there a listed PC sprint key?

The public description we captured lists sprint on controller L2 only. Check in-game settings for a keyboard sprint row rather than inventing one here.

Where is the longer controls explanation?

The controls guide covers cameras, revive versus carry, and match flow. This page stays a table.

Do Entity and Emissary share these binds?

The listed defaults are shared at the input level. What Q or Y does still depends on the kit you locked in the lobby. Check the players hub for kit actions.
