Support Emissary Type in TIMELESS

What a Support does in TIMELESS

A Support player drops value on the map that makes the whole team harder to kill and makes generators harder for the Entity to pressure. Your job is not to chase. It is to make the generators and the teammates near them more durable. A good Support player is the reason a generator finishes under pressure. A bad Support places a turret where no one is generators.

The Support win condition is a generator table that empties faster than the Entity can pressure it. You do that by making every generator position more defensible with walls, turrets, and dispensers.

Kits that are Support

Builderman — the Support teaching kit. Ban Hammer Slam (22 seconds: Helpless for 1 second), Trowel (23 seconds: 30 HP wall lasting 20 seconds, survivors walk through it), Blueprint (17 seconds: Sentry [30 HP, Slowness I for 2.5s], Rocket Turret [Slowness II for 2s], or Dispenser [1 HP per 0.3s]). HelperBot is Builderman’s creation and he sees through the bot. The teaching point is placement: a wall on the generator line is a stall tool. A wall in a corner is a wasted cooldown. A Sentry on a generator approach is a slow that makes the Entity’s next pressure more expensive. A Sentry where no one is generators is a noise that tells the Entity where you are not.

HelperBot — Builderman’s creation. Medkit and push tech. HelperBot does not have his own URL yet; he lives as a Builderman-adjacent tool. He is Support because he drops value (medkit heal, push displacement) on positions where teammates are, not because he is a primary survivor.

How to play Support

  1. Identify the generator cluster the Entity is pressuring. Support buildings placed away from Entity pressure are decorations.
  2. Drop Trowel wall on the generator approach. 30 HP lasts about 3 seconds against a melee Entity. It does not need to hold forever — it needs to buy 3 seconds of revive time or generator tick.
  3. Place Sentry on the approach the Entity uses to reach the generator. 30 HP Sentry with Slowness I means the Entity takes damage and slow every time they commit.
  4. Use Dispenser near the generator for the teammate who is filling gas. 1 HP per 0.3 seconds adds up over a long generator fill.
  5. Ban Hammer the Entity who is committing to the generator. Helpless for 1 second buys the generator filler 1 second of free gas.
  6. Rotate with your buildings. A Support who stays in one position after dropping their buildings is a Support who is waiting to be found.

Support on different maps

Construction (small): Generator clusters are obvious. Place Trowel wall on the main approach, Sentry nearby, and watch the Entity walk into slow. The compact space means your buildings cover multiple generators from one position.

Starter Place / Area 51 (medium): Medium size means you need to rotate between generator clusters. Drop buildings on the approach to the generator the Entity is pressuring, not the generator that is already finished.

Horror Hotel (large): Multi-floor means buildings on one floor do not cover generators on another. Rotate with your buildings rather than planting and staying. Place Sentry on stair landings to slow Entity rotation between floors.

Yorick’s Resting Place (large): Wide plots make it harder to cover multiple generators. Prioritize the generator nearest to where the Entity has been committing.

Crossroads, Town of Robloxia, Hallowsville: Mixed scale. Use the same placement logic: buildings on generator approaches, not on empty tiles.

Support against Entity types

Chaser (Mr. Doe, 007n7, Destroyer Bot): Chasers patrol generators. Your Trowel wall on the generator approach means a Chaser who commits has to break the wall before they can grab. Break the wall, eat Sentry slow, then Ban Hammer for Helpless.

Rushdown (Kolossos, fast Ellernate): Rushdowns want the fast collapse. Your Trowel wall on the revive pile buys the revive time. Sentry slow makes the Rushdown’s approach more expensive. Ban Hammer Helpless after a Rushdown Charge wins the counter-engage.

Trapper (Ellernate zone, Zombie King patience): Trappers want to zone generators. Your buildings do not counter zones — they counter the Entity using the zone as cover to grab. Place buildings to make the Entity choose between zone and your turret.

Snowballer (Zombie King infection, 007n7 Induction late): Snowballers get stronger as the lobby thins. Your buildings are most valuable in the mid-round when the lobby is full. Every generator you stall in a 6-person lobby is more valuable than the same stall in a 3-person lobby.

Support versus the other roles

Sentinel (Shedletsky, BrightEyes, Nikilis): A Sentinel near your generator cluster makes your buildings more valuable — the Entity has to deal with both your turret and the Sentinel stun before they can grab. Coordinate with Sentinels to stack your slow and their stun.

Survivalist (Guest, Jane, Noob): A Survivalist near your dispenser means the generator filler is also getting passive heal. Place buildings where Survivalists are filling gas, not where they are running.

Last 50 Seconds as Support

The eight is running exits. Your buildings are now exit denial tools rather than generator stall. Place Trowel wall on the exit corridor the Entity is camping. Sentry slow on the approach to that corridor makes the Entity choose between eating slow and camping the door. Ban Hammer Helpless on the Entity at the door buys the revive that the runner needs.

Do not place buildings on a generator that no one is filling in Last 50. The objective shifted from generators to exits. Your buildings follow the objective.

Open how to survive for fundamentals. Read the emissary tier list. Queue, place buildings on generator approaches, and make every Entity commit more expensive.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for TIMELESS rounds, codes, and character picks.

What is a Support in TIMELESS?

Support drops value on the map — walls, turrets, heals, and buffs — that makes generators and teammates more durable. Builderman is the Support teaching kit.

Why is Builderman the Support teaching kit?

Builderman has buildings that directly stall generators (Trowel wall, Sentry, Rocket Turret, Dispenser) and the Ban Hammer for Helpless. Every ability has placement discipline.

Where should Support place buildings?

On generator approaches, near the Entity pressure, not in corners or on empty tiles. Placement is the skill floor for Support.

What map is best for Support?

Construction (small) is the Support teaching map — generator clusters are tight and buildings cover multiple positions. Large maps require more rotation.

How does Support play Last 50 Seconds?

Shift from generator stall to exit denial. Place Trowel wall and Sentry on the exit corridor the Entity is camping.

Where does the Builderman kit page live?

Builderman has a dedicated page on the emissaries roster.
