The Horror Hotel in TIMELESS
Multi-floor layout, long corridors, stairwell revives. A large indoor-outdoor hunt on Roblox.
Overview
The Horror Hotel is one of the largest maps in TIMELESS after the September 2026 map additions. It is an indoor-outdoor hunt with multiple floors, long corridors, stairwells, service areas, and a vertical scale that punishes Emissaries who do not think about floor positions. The Entity can patrol across floors while the eight is split between generators on different levels. This page is the Horror Hotel guide: layout, generator positions, hazard locations, and how to survive the multi-floor challenge.
Pair it with Getting Started if this is your first TIMELESS map, How to Survive if you keep dying on multi-floor layouts, and How to Play Entity if you are hunting across floors.
Layout and scale
The Horror Hotel plays larger than it looks on the lobby preview. The building has at least three distinct floor levels with connecting stairwells, plus outdoor sections between building wings. Generator positions are distributed across these floors, which means an Emissary on the third floor cannot help a teammate on the ground floor without crossing at least one stairwell.
The vertical scale is the first skill check. Emissaries who stay on one floor and ignore the others are giving the Entity permission to pressure the unreinforced generators. Emissaries who rotate between floors without calling their movement are giving the Entity permission to catch them in the stairwell.
Generator positions
Generators are spread across the hotel floors. The ground floor has the main lobby generator and at least one side corridor generator. Upper floors each have their own generator positions. The roof or outdoor section may have a generator that is exposed to different sightlines than the interior floors.
The key discipline on Horror Hotel is not abandoning a floor’s generator because you heard something on another floor. If you are on the second floor and the Entity is pressuring the ground floor, finish your generator tick before you rotate. A half-filled generator that gets interrupted is worth less than a generator that finishes.
Stairwells as revive locations
Stairwells are the revive challenge on Horror Hotel. A revive started at the top of a stairwell can be interrupted by an Entity on the landing below. A revive at the bottom of a stairwell can be hit by an Entity who is coming down from above. The safe revive in a stairwell is in cover — behind a wall, not in the open tread.
Carry bodies off stairwell treads before you revive. The default carry bind is C on PC. If a body is on a stairwell landing, carry it to the nearest wall cover before you hit R to revive.
The Entity reads stairwells the same way. A Kolossos who waits at a stairwell landing for a reviving Emissary is using the geometry to camp. A Mr. Doe who Leap-stairs to a revive pile is using vertical mobility to collapse the revive window.
Hazards on Horror Hotel
Hazard locations on Horror Hotel include service areas such as kitchens, maintenance corridors, and security wings. Fire, poison, and lasers can appear in these areas depending on the round and the Last 50 Seconds window.
Some hazards are always on during the round. Some only appear in Last 50 Seconds. Do not treat a service corridor as safe for the whole round just because it was safe in the first eight minutes. The Last 50 Seconds guide covers which hazards are round-long versus window-only.
The outdoor sections of the hotel have different hazard profiles than the interior floors. Wind, open sightlines, and exposed generator positions make outdoor sections higher-risk for Emissaries who are being chased.
Entity perspective on Horror Hotel
For the Entity, Horror Hotel is a patrol route, not a nest. Hit a generator, force a peel, rotate to the next floor. Multi-floor pressure is the strength of Ellernate on this map — his Fire Wall on a stairwell landing stops Emissary rotation between floors. Long-range projectiles punish Emissaries who think a third-floor window is a safe generator position.
Kolossos Charge in a stairwell doorway can impale two Emissaries who are using the same stairwell to rotate. The indicator that paints red auras on the map tells you which floor has Emissary activity — use that information to cut off the stairwell rather than chasing across floors.
007n7 World Warp across hotel floors is effective if you have counted the Warp points on each level. Without a counted point map, Warp across floors can put you in a position where c00lkids are visible but you cannot reach the generator.
Last 50 Seconds on Horror Hotel
Last 50 Seconds adds lightning or powerlines to the hotel that were not present in the early round. The stairwell that was safe in minute eight may be electrified in minute twelve. Exit routes that were clear may now have hazards that were not there when the round started.
Play for exits, not for the last generator. The Horror Hotel has multiple exit points across floors. An Emissary who knows which exit the Entity is not covering is an Emissary who survives Last 50 Seconds.
The Entity should pre-position on exit corridors in Last 50 Seconds rather than chasing the last generator. A Zombie King with zombie congestion on the hotel exits is more effective than one chasing a Guest through the service corridors.
Emissary survival checklist for Horror Hotel
- Do not abandon a floor’s generator because you heard something on another floor. Finish the tick.
- Carry bodies off stairwell treads before you revive. Use cover, not open treads.
- Call floor positions when you rotate. “Going to second floor” matters when the Entity is multi-floor pressing.
- Do not treat service corridors as safe for the whole round. Check whether hazards appeared in Last 50 Seconds.
- Pre-learn which exit the Entity is not covering in Last 50 Seconds. The hotel has multiple exits.
- Sentinel stuns on this map are most valuable when they stop an Entity who is cutting a stairwell rotation.

What is the Horror Hotel in TIMELESS?
A large multi-floor indoor-outdoor map with stairwells, long corridors, service areas, and generators distributed across at least three floor levels.
Why are stairwells dangerous on Horror Hotel?
Revives started on stairwell treads can be interrupted from landings above or below. Carry bodies to wall cover before reviving.
Which Entity kit is best on Horror Hotel?
Ellernate with Fire Wall lane control on stairwell landings. Long-range projectiles punish exposed generator positions on upper floors.

Fire, poison, and lasers in service areas (kitchens, maintenance, security wings). Some are always on; some only appear in Last 50 Seconds.
How does Last 50 Seconds change Horror Hotel?
